"The Cosmos at the Cosmos Club", Washington, DC, January-June 2015
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Hubble telescope, the Cosmos Club hosts an exhibit of works inspired by and related to creativity and outer space. My piece uses an image sent back by Hubble. In the process of creating it, I learned that all the Hubble images come back as digital information, black and white, interpreted by us humans and colorized according to formulas for the gases detected - not exactly fiction, but somewhere in the realm of imagination. How gorgeous they are.
